Berlin’s largest urban shelter was built in Prenzlauer Berg, where in the 1920s over 5,000 people were admitted each night. Today the neighbouring houses are modernised luxury apartments and their entrances are filled with shopping bags. On half transparent fabric unfolds a loose narration on the situation of homeless people today. They keep their belongings in shopping trolleys that cannot be brought into shelters.
