A large creased piece of facric is spread out on the floor of the Roman museum collection. A pixelated press photo on it documents the state of destruction in the museum of Palmyra through the Islamic State in 2016. For protection, metal structures are placed around the pixelated images of the vandalised sculptures in the image. The digital print offers a view on to a parallel museum reality. Position, folds and a poor resolution as oversized print on fabric increase the abstraction of the image.
